We are thrilled to celebrate Marlee Strawn, a remarkable member of our WTE community, who recently achieved a significant milestone by securing 3rd place out of 60 competitors at the prestigious TiE Women’s Pitch Contest! Marlee, the Co-Founder and Head of Education at Scholar Education, is driving transformative change in the classroom with AI-powered solutions, and her success is a testament to her vision and dedication. Marlee discovered the opportunity to participate in the TiE Women’s Pitch Contest through WTE, and she generously credits our community with connecting her to this exciting challenge.

Marlee’s entrepreneurial journey is rooted in a strong background in education. As the former Founding Principal of Dr. Kiran Patel High School, she has always been passionate about empowering students and educators. At Scholar Education, Marlee and her team are leveraging AI to revolutionize how students learn and interact in the classroom, making education more personalized and effective. Her innovative work was recently featured on Fox 13, where she discussed how AI tools, like virtual dogs, are being used to engage students in new and exciting ways.
