Despite an impressive career as a Chief of Staff to Fortune 500 Silicone Valley grown companies, and an early retirement as an Angel Investor, Amy Crosby never saw herself as an entrepreneur... until she joined Women in Tech & Entrepreneurship. When Amy returned to Tampa Bay, she was driven to give back to the community and quickly connected with WTE to share her expertise as a SCORE Mentor. Her impact on our community was immediate, and she quickly joined our board and began leading Pitch Deck Workshops to empower our members.
It was in one of these dynamic workshops that Amy met Heather DePalma, CEO of Profferfish, a transformative platform that streamlines the process for high school students to secure volunteer hours needed for Bright Futures scholarships. Seeing the potential to combine their strengths, Amy stepped into the role of COO and Partner at Profferfish. Together, Amy and Heather are driving the platform’s growth, focusing on expanding its user base and forging more partnerships with schools throughout Florida. Their collaborative efforts aim to significantly broaden Profferfish’s reach, connecting more schools and students to the platform's innovative services.
Join us in cheering on Amy and Heather as they revolutionize how students access volunteer opportunities!
